I sat for the Google Cloud Platform Cloud Developer Beta Exam today and I was pleasantly surprised with the exam format, questions and answers and the case study.
I believe this is a big improvement from what I seen on the Cloud Architect exam. I am guessing its a different group of folks that developed the exams.
Google has done a remarkable job on this exam.
EXAM Overview
Beta Exam Questions — 102
Beta Exam Time — 4 Hours(240 Minutes). (Completed in 97 minutes)
So the Beta Exam is of course lengthy, It will take a good developer likely two hours at the most. However, if your not familiar with GCP Services and/or want to over think everything than I could see how you could use the full four hours.

To be honest I was a bit afraid when I reviewed the objectives since I am no developer. Matter of Fact I have a hard time developing “Hello World” apps in Python (Ok perhaps an overstatement).
